Arts Awards are a fantastic way to gain a Nationally recognised qualification whilst being creative.  They inspire young people to explore and enjoy the arts. They are open to 5 to 25 year olds of EVERY ability.  The Awards are run by Trinity College, London and start with Discover or Explore awards and progress to Bronze, Silver and Gold that carries UCAS points.  There are no entry requirements and no time limit for completing the award.  On the journey students do plenty of hands on art work, learn about other artists, share their work with others and assemble a portfolio.  The projects can vary from a few hours to several days depending on how much time young people want to spend on their project and their abilities. When they have completed their chosen award they will have a portfolio to show off their creativity and a recognised national qualification.
